Our Founders

Our story begins with Samuel Newton, a former Hollywood boom operator with credits in over 25 feature films, who discovered his zeal for dance in the lively city of Dallas, TX, well into his late 20s. His counterpart, Sarah Hamilton, entered the dance world as an instructor with a lifelong dedication to the art. Together, they perceived the fragmented nature of dance information online, particularly in Nashville, and embarked on a mission to streamline this landscape.

Our Mission

Where To Dance, LLC was born from this vision. More than a decade later, our platform remains a cornerstone for dancers, educators, and enthusiasts seeking to find classes, studios, and events.
